He is not funny. He is a moralist incognito.

His way of telling stories has the charm reminiscent of the quintessential high school alpha male who thrives in annoying pretty girls.

I like his mini-book. I guess Melanie Marquez knows what she was talking about after all. About not judging people as they are not books.

bob ong was entertaining when i was a high school student. but eventually, got tired of his kind of humor.

i, nevertheless, read his more recent books because my sister bought them, unlike the abanakakabasa and that libro ni hudas which I personally bought with my own allowance.

why not try Mananaggal Terrorizes Manila, it should make you laugh more violently! Hahaha. ^_^

Hm, I read one Bob Ong book with talking animals on it. Very modern, but not really that fetching.

Good read, though.

I have most of his books. The only thing missing is the latest (I think it was "McArthur" or something).

I first read ABNKKBSNPLAKO, and was entertained enough to buy the yellow one. I didnt enjoy Libro ni Hudas that much, sad to say.

The one Momel was talking about is "Alamat ng Gubat", a satire-of-sort about philippine society.

I guess the novelty of Bob Ong's books has lost its spell on me. I read Stainless Longanisa but, heck, I didnt retain a single word that's on it, except for the title that is.
